Each year the range of Pumpkin Spice products gets wider, from the classic latte to boiled sweets the range just gets bigger, and this bold scent and flavour takes over the season.
Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte turns 15 years old this year, and it can be partially credited for the massive amount of pumpkin and pumpkin spice-flavoured products We now enjoy. Over the Atlantic, America’s obsession with the flavour grows with the number of pumpkin items offered each year.
The PSL, as the latte is affectionately called, is Starbucks’s most popular seasonal beverage. More than 200 million have been sold since its inception, and Forbes estimated the company earned around $100 million in revenue from the drink alone last fall. It has a heavy social media presence, and its own verified Twitter account, @TheRealPSL.
So if your feeling adventurous, then here's our recipe for a perfect, warming Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Ingredients
470ml milk
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Spice Mix
59ml Sweet Condensed Milk
1/2 Tablespoons Vanilla extract
59ml Espresso
Whipped Cream to finish
2 teaspoons ground ginger,
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg,
1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice,
1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Spice Mix
59ml Sweet Condensed Milk
1/2 Tablespoons Vanilla extract
59ml Espresso
Whipped Cream to finish
For the Spice Mix
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon,2 teaspoons ground ginger,
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg,
1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice,
1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add milk, canned pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice and warm until steaming and all ingredients have dissolved. Add espresso and remove from heat.
- Pour into two mugs and top with whipped cream and remaining pumpkin spice.

I’m burning pumpkin spice at the moment and I was very surprised how strong the throw was; this is my first time burning cozy glow candles most my candles are from YC, very impressed I’m glad I brought a few more apple strudel, bubble gum etc, will definitely be coming back to Coulsdon store please have the freshly baked bread in stock 😀
